Audi Presents Integrated Infotainment Concept at Google Developer Conference
Posted on July 6, 2017
If there was ever a doubt that Audi wasn't an innovator, it's gone now. In May, Audi presented a concept for a new integrated infotainment system at the Google I/O developer conference. This conference is widely considered to be the largest and most important conference in the software industry world.
Audi showcased their concept for a new open system architecture that features a seamless integration with Android on their Audi Q8 sport platform. The new infotainment concept features streaming from Spotify, Google Play Music, and Google Assistant.
The coolest part? Features aren't only displayed on the MMI touch display, but also projected into the driver's line of site using the Audi virtual cockpit, allowing Toronto drivers to keep their eyes on the road. Another feature is the ability to navigate with Google Maps, integrated into the infotainment system.
This is yet another example of how Audi is crafting the driver experience for the better, and it's certainly not the first time. Experience all the ways Audi has changed the game by exploring the used Audi inventory available at Bay Auto Zone. Come in for a test drive today!
