Lexus Creates a Flick Called Beyond Memories

A lots of times, automakers create movies to allow
them to display their vehicles in a whole new way putting them in unique
settings and backdrops to showcase their brand's creativity. This isn't exactly
the direction Lexus has decided to take with their new short film called
"Beyond Memories."

The short film features a women name Sophie, who tries to
repress some of her past memories even
though they are hidden in her mind. You might be thinking, what's different
about this video? It doesn't feature a single automobile. Yup, that's right,
there aren't any new or used Lexus vehicles in the entire video.

The film
follows "Sophie" throughout her adventures in a cabin as she runs through a
river nearby. She throws away a necklace a former lover gave her into the water
then jumps in to find it. The films jumps around to past and present memories
of the love she lost.

This film gives viewers a sense of sophistication,
it was produced with the Weinstein Company and the video made its debut at this
year's Cannes Film Festival.
