Things to Keep in Your Car this Summer (and a Few to Bring In)

At Bay Auto Zone we have a great selection of used luxury cars models, including a wide offering of used BMW and Mercedes-Benz stunners. At our Toronto, ON dealership we'll make sure you leave our lot with keys in hand and a beautiful car to put in the driveway.
With summer approaching we imagine you'll be spending a lot of time in your vehicle. To stay safe and have a good time we've compiled a list of 5 things to always have in your car and 2 things you should take in on a regular basis.
- Make sure you don't go far without bottled water and some snacks, just in case
- Credit and debit cards are the norm, but keep $50 in cash on hand for road side stands and emergency situations; small bills are best
- Many of our vehicles have navigation systems, but it's not a bad idea to have a map on hand just in case
- You never know when you'll want to pull over for a rest. Having a blanket and pillow make it that much more comfortable
- It's easy to get bored if you're a passenger. Keep magazines available for older passengers and I Spy or color books for the little ones
Things not to keep in your car
- Bring electronics like cameras and iPads with you. They hate the heat and are temping for thieves
- Lipsticks and crayons melt easily and can stain materials. If any spills happen, visit our car detailing center
